How to Transfer VMware certifications

  

If you have a VMware certification and want to transfer it to a different account or to a new

owner, you can do so by following these steps:

1.     Determine the ownership of the certification:

 If the certification is registered to your personal account, you can transfer it to a different account or to a new owner. If the certification is registered to a company or organization, you will need to check with your employer or the organization's designated contact to see if they will allow you to transfer the certification.

2.     Request a transfer:

To request a transfer of a certification, you will need to log in to your VMware certification account and navigate to the "My Certifications" page. From there, you should be able to see a list of your certifications. Click on the certification that you want to transfer and then click the "Transfer" button.

3.     Provide the required information

You will need to provide the following information in order to complete the transfer request:

Your name and email address

The name and email address of the person or to organization you are transferring the certification to

A reason for the transfer

4.     Review and submit the request:

 Once you have provided all of the required information, you will need to review the request and submit it. You may be asked to confirm your request or provide additional information before the transfer can be completed.

5.     Wait for approval:

Once you have submitted the request, it will be reviewed by VMware. If the request is approved, the certification will be transferred to the new owner. If the request is denied, you will receive an email explaining the reason for the denial.

It's important to note that VMware has the right to deny any transfer request at its discretion. 

This can be because of elements such as the certification being invalid or fraudulently obtained, or the transfer not being in the best interests of VMware or the certification program. In general, it's a good idea to keep your certification account up to date with your current contact information and to notify VMware if you change your name, email address, or employment status.
